📢 U.S. and China Reach Framework Trade Agreement After London Talks After two days of negotiations in London, representatives from the U.S. and China announced they have agreed on a new "framework agreement" to implement the Geneva consensus which had previously helped pause tariff hikes back in May. The framework will be submitted to President Trump and President Xi Jinping for approval before official implementation. A key part of the agreement includes: 🟠 China reopening rare earth exports, 🟠 The U.S. potentially easing technology restrictions. This move is seen as a “de-escalation step” rather than an end to the trade war. Several details remain unresolved, and there is still a chance the deal could fall through.
