Getting rejected after 4 interview rounds (and even negotiations) 😓.

Can't even begin to understand why as things were really looking good.
I guess if there's competition, someone good must be rejected. In this case, I happen to be "someone"

good thing the assignment was paid work, so it was a win for both parties, but more win on the company side, imo.

Generally, there process was very straightforward (not sure if my resume made it so or Everton have the same process).
Then, the take home was stipulated to be paid. That was stressful but it’s not free work so again I’ll say it was okay as both parties understood the “risks” and possible “reward”.
In company recruiter/hiring manager so again, cutting all the external recruiters moat (they tend to not undestans what’s really important to the company and what’s not)

All in all I’ll say 8.5/10 considering most companies are really bad at hiring.

Anything more than 2 interviews I will end the application process. That’s not a company I would want to work for

sorry man, that’s tough one and beet inlucky. especially as negotiations have started, usually a done deal at that stage
