Some Lessons From My Trading Losses :) Patience is how you win trading base tokens. Speed is how you win trading solana. On base, you can make easy profit by being very early (say buy in the first 20 minutes) and they sell like 10 minutes later. Call it initial pump. After that, just set your chart to 4h because that's how the chart now moves. It can be frustrating initially but again. If the token has fundamentals, and the chart looks good, you'll be in profit surely. On solana, entering early is almost always a trap unless you're part of the launching/marketing "cabal". It's the exact opposite of trading on base. You have to wait!. That early 30 minutes? wait. Even hours later. Wait. Until you see the token hitting highs (I'm talking 20m, 15m highs). Look for twitter tickers/community. If the tokens looks good or at least has held up for 10-12 hours still making highs. Then you buy. But this time, set your chart to 1h or even lower. On solana chart moves fast. You can go from 200m to 40m in 4 hours (this can almost never happen on base)l. Th is is where you have to be fast. is there fud on twitter? is the chart starting to look bad? Just get out immediately. It can spiral. Even if you're wrong and the chart is not so bad. Then you can always buy in again and since the chart is moving fast, a good chart will still bring back that 5 - 10% you took when you sold initially.

In Summary: Base -> Buy/Sell fast on launch, Buy hold after that . 4h chart Solana -> Don't buy on launch, Wait for token to make good highs. Buy. Watch the charts closely to sell as soon as chart start looking bad. 1h chart (or lesser even)
