• 1 lb (450g) fresh fish (such as sea bass, snapper, or halibut), cut into small 1/2-inch cubes
• 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4-6 limes)
• 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons)
• 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
• 1 jalapeño or serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped (adjust to taste)
• 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
• 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced
