We’re launching Coins on Paragraph next week - a new way for readers to support the posts they love & get rewarded, while helping great writing get the visibility it deserves. For writers: this means an entirely new way to earn from your best ideas. No paywalls, no gating, & no recurring subscriptions. Just instantly tradable, fairly launched ERC20s backed by your writing. DM for early access, rolling out today. See it in action: https://paragraph.com/@aja/the-death-of-the-yeoman-farmer

interesting! I’m curious about the underlying tokenomics and how the liquidity is determined. This is a recent mistake of mine that I don’t intend to repeat, so I’m asking questions for my own education… You have a solid product here, tokenizing is great; if it means payouts that don’t have any measure of impact on the market value of their own token, otherwise they are just tanking themselves & their value. Or does the writer only see the underlying usdc?

Post coins are vested over a 1 year period. Writer gets 10% of them, in addition to 0.05% of every transaction fee. We want to find ways for writers to earn without needing to sell (for example -- automatic pre-determined selling at regular intervals), but this is a good starting point

no worries! Though I do just want to ask for clarification on what you meant when you said: “automatic pre-determined selling” -is that from the 10% streamed? Also, if the reader/supporter is minting the writers token via eth or usdc, is the fee that the writer receives inclusive of that or dex trading fees only? Thanks again!

- yes, from 10% streamed, though the model would likely be different than just 10% streamed - the writer receives fees from both trading pairs in the uniswap pool; which right now is ETH and the coin ERC20

Thanks for clarifying. @run4seven is a life long writer and I wanted to make sure I had my facts straight before I started chatting with her about it. She’s not been on Farcaster in awhile now, but I’m hoping she will make a comeback soon. She’s also my mom. 🙃
