engine been overheating while idling. coolant reading way high, sounds like it might be radiator fan. weird ~5s clicking noise near the passenger dash when starting as well, tho idk if that’s related

Bubbles coming out the coolant? Could be head gasket, a coolant sniffer would tell you.

this was my pride and joy, ranger limited edition before I moved to Panama 💩📦 I had a lil old mitsubishi lancer I picked up and flipped right before I left too

Word around the family is I might be getting a van (bribe) [to come home to usa] and doing this loop

but doctors appointments here 🇵🇦 are pushing back my timeline which is fine with me honestlyyyy

but yeah the worst part about Panama is not driving, not accumulating, and not working on vehicles 😭🤧

I didn't even have to replace that battery :p It was half dead but not dead enough to replace. I had road service come to pick it up and bring it to the garage. The guy said, I know this issue, pulled out is carryon battery starter and life was good again :p

good shout. nice to have solved an issue with just a new battery lol. nothing like the fresh crank. 

but nah it has a similar sound to a starter issue but something different. sounds like it’s a stripped gear for what’s called a “blend door actuator” for directing air to different locations. homie said he had to take the entire dash off to replace so i may just live with it for now lol

Those clicking noises are often due to the starter motor or I had it recently, we thought the starter was broken, turns out it was just a half dead battery? The cars lights and everything turned on but did not have enough juice to crank the engine. 

However, since its already started It's something different. If it's a fan and clicking on the passenger side it could be as simple as a faulty fuse.
