Weird take. The thing that is so cool about mini apps is that they open app creation to such a wider group of people. We’ve had a generation of the internet that has been dominated by Apple brokering every aspect and monopoly social media taking everything else. Farcaster is tiny in comparison but the vision is not.

I am 100% with you. I think a lot of the world hasn’t seen how WeChat functions, partially because they also don’t read mandarin. 

The ability to order a didi from WeChat for example? What’s stopping us from ensuring tba/farcaster isn’t your one stop shop?

btw, it isn't just wechat. we have telegram, line (super popular in japan), and kakaotalk is opening up. most of these even have crypto rails. 

farcaster (the protocol) powering TBA/coinbase wallet, with 10M users + mini apps - might just be the tip of the iceberg

yes. my bull case for Farcaster is that it enables WeChat for the west. much more chaotic but it's a vision way more inline with the early ideas of the internet.
