It started off as a joke. I didn’t even mean to delete it. So many times I wrote a message. Reread it. Edited it. Stared into blank space. Then deleted it. I’ve been off social media for a few months for a couple of reasons I hope you won’t judge me for: 1. The past 5 years of my life have felt like a social obligation because of my social vocation. I needed to breathe. 2. I realized I hadn’t been bored in a long time. I always had something to do. Not work, but a video to watch or post to engage in, by the swipe of a scroll. I needed to reclaim my brain. 3. I wanted to focus on building out a company that would actually change lives for years. became my main priority. We accomplished more in 3 months than we did in nearly 2 years.

To change a life is to save a life. When I look out into the world, many speak of lights, I just see lives. Different struggles, different stories. Small wins, big success. To be different is to take the road less traveled I get it. But I guess it’s time I come back and put that to the test. My prayer is that your blessing will never miss your time. Thank you Jesus for your mercy, I will always aim to be a vessel. I took a much needed leave, but sometimes that reveals even more of why you need to stay. I know it probably makes no sense for me to be exposing myself, but… Why Hidden Truths? As I’ve started this new YouTube series, this is understandably a question I’ve been asked often. It’s definitely not my regular “trading” content — which many know has no current plans of returning as my personal brand evolves. Well, truth be told: Over the past year and some change, my life has had so many pivotal moments. Many questions were asked and honestly, I was reluctant to give a response. Videos were recorded multiple times, paragraphs turned to essays — then the backspace button became all too convenient. I figured there was only one way to take you into my life in those moments, explain the unexplained, and still keep you entertained. Some people will hate it, others will completely abandon me, but regardless, there’s no stopping an intentional destiny. I’m here to stay for as long as God wants me.

This might be uncomfortable to hear, but hear me out… This morning I was reading and preparing my day when I came across a verse in the Bible that made me pause and think. “But wisdom is shown to be right by the lives of those who follow it.” (Luke 7:35 NLT) Now some of you may not be avid Bible readers or Christians at all, but there is a truth behind this statement that you can’t deny. I see many people view wisdom as life experience on earth. The older they are, the wiser they must be. However, as this world has progressed at such a rapid rate and the new age of social media has taken over many common practices, it’s brought truth to the fact that wisdom is made apparent based upon the outcome of your life, not the income of your intellect.
