More than a few leaders have asked me how to get better at receiving tough feedback.
Start here: respond the same way you would to a compliment.
“Thank you.”
That’s it. Period. Full stop.
No need to agree, justify, or explain. Feedback is data. Treat it like a gift—receive it with grace, then decide what to do with it.
