My prediction:
Values-based leadership is going to rise in the years ahead.
The most common response I get when I mention it is: “What is that?”
That always makes me smile :)
To me, it looks like this:
1) Clarifying what matters most (your values)
2) Defining what that looks like in action (your behaviors)
3) Doing it consistently — even when it’s hard, boring, or inconvenient
It’s not a complicated form of leadership.
But it’s exquisitely difficult to execute well — especially over time.
