HIGHER was recently approached about a potential HIGHER token upgrade. @martin added me to a chat with the clanker team to unpack a potential HIGHER token upgrade, this chat being focused on a migration via clanker
this sparked an extremely in depth conversation within the HZ squad [we've discussed ad nauseam live on stream] about the potential to [fresh start type beat] align the token more closely with the network’s culture, values, and ambition
considerations include the best home for liquidity, adjustments to trading fees, and how fees [if any] would be distributed across contributors and the broader network, as well as raising [hb] the ceiling for higher with a potential mainnet migration
in true higher fashion, no decision can or will be made without consensus from the beautiful and powerful higher network consensus, and hopefully the conversation can blossom from here with a variety of perspectives from the community
