crypto took one of its most flexible primitives and decided to call nearly every expression of it a coin. but a token can coordinate access, ownership, rewards, governance, participation, identity, markets, communities, games, software, and things nobody has named convincingly yet. sometimes it's also a very funny picture with a ticker. good. the point is not to make every token serious. the point is to stop making every token the same.
