why do people hesitate to try out new apps that are trying to do something different? i've seen a lot of people that said they didn't use polymarket before because it was on polygon. same with pump fun on solana i'm curious bc i'm the type of person who just tries new stuff out without thinking too much about it. i tried out farcaster and lens back in 2022 for no reason other than "this looks interesting/cool". so i don't really have a good understanding of why others might be more cautious

generous take from my pov: ppl know the things they already enjoy doing currently anything new in the ocean of internet stuff has to ‘hook’ them immediately otherwise they just default to the things they know provide x amount of entertainment/satisfaction/fun/etc
