How do you describe Farcaster to people when trying to onboard them? Here's what I sent this friend:

"It's a new social network similar to Twitter that anyone can build mini apps on top of (think like Facebook Farmville but 2025) and it's built on top of crypto so everyone has a wallet automatically which means you can earn money for posting, send and receive tips, use money in mini apps, etc."

It depends on the person, if it’s someone outside the crypto world it’s much more difficult, the conversation needs to be through other ways and explain less about details, if it’s someone already used to things gets simpler and I think using twitter as an example is a good point, that then you can add from that point the advantages that exist around here

They wallet part is when they stuck a lot, they got a lil lost too in the different ways u’re able to do with crypto inside fc, and a lot of people already come with a planted ideia by the news cuz they talk a lot “crypto is scam etc..” so u have to first demystify all this thought and then enter the “technical” part of the app
