~some random thoughts~

something about scrolling zora is that my instagram brain keeps double tapping to like. 

zora has decided to replace the like with a dollar figure as the primary engagement metric. the part of me that's really opposed to the financialisation of everything wants to immediately revolt and say that this is bad, worse than instagram. 

i'm thinking: at scale people will do whatever to make the number go up and such. 

but then, likes on instagram are currency too. and people already do crazy things to make the numbers go up (likes, followers, engagement, etc) on instagram. to the end that they make money of course. zora has said to hell with that, let's make the money the main metric. 

i'm still thinking....
