this video in a nutshell explains why i stopped discussing movies with an acquaintance. he'd watch a movie then go on youtube and watch one of those channels that critically analyse "logical inconsistencies" in a movie, and then trash the movie. once even trashed a movie he hadn't seen on account of one of those youtube videos. sheesh. https://youtu.be/GSLgL9VE2eQ?si=xQOjX97Zfz_EOvsQ
