When you put gases inside a tube under low pressure and apply a high voltage, you get a neon sign. This means that, in many ways, a neon sign is just a controlled version of a lightning bolt. And that's why it's so cool! With the right voltage and gas admixture, one would be able to make one of those👇 in real life. And I think it would @inflynce A LOT.
