The core problem with miniapp apps is that they confuse generativity with value. Anything, Gizmo, VibeCode, Replit, etc. They are impressive as party tricks but they break this loop that Instagram and TikTok have monopolized: low production cost → high entertainment value → passive consumption scales infinitely → attention becomes monetizable. Each user/consumer gets enormous surplus from the content. Miniapp apps fail in two places: the cost of consuming is too high (you have to interact, figure out what it does, decide if it's worth your time), and the output is non-compositional (my miniapp doesn't build on yours in any meaningful way).
