I always have the set of TSA travel size containers, usually 4 together, that go into a zippable bag and then I put THAT into another larger ziploc

We always have a ton of ziplocs stored in the pockets of our suitcases just to make sure any liquids are separated away.

And it's the DOUBLE ZIPPER kind.

I don’t know the real word but I use the finger condoms for this.

I liked the one about lining the top of the container with something before screwing the cap on - that's a good one that I'll try at some point.  

surely someone's made some little stringy caps (like a shower cap) that you can just put over, then screw the lid on.
