the form factor of Warpcast makes it awkward..tho I heard from friends that Twitter communities (essentially channels) are a good place to reach new people (but they just have more people period)

Yeah, I was big into channels a few months ago and would go into a channel to find things I was interested in and still cast to them cause it is a hard habit to break but rarely (never) visit a channel anymore.  Scrolling the home-feed is the only way I see other people's casts.

the UX isn't very geared towards channel surfing... 🏄

Nope not at all, I still like the idea of channels but especially cause the DAU’s here is pretty low idk how necessary they are right now
