I keep thinking of animals (such as pigeons) who experience the world at a higher FPS, i.e. in slow motion / higher temporal resolution relative to us Humans experience this occasionally e.g. when going through an accident / life-threatening situation Is it possible to chemically induce this state of hyper vigilance?

I don’t know, bc there’s drugs like pregabalin that would slow down time perception but…you are also very slow actually 😅 and I think you are asking for something closer to the matrix bullet time / limitless pill as others have mentioned if it exists it’s probably under DoD research NDA 🥴
