I’ve seen these things before, they are awesome instagram porn. if you want to think of it like a speaker designer, does music usually sound good in a small bathroom with a bunch of hard surfaces like tile and glass (or in this case, acrylic)? same thing for speaker cabinets. your priority is to deal with resonances (and standing waves) in an effective way so that your cabinets are as inert as possible. glass or acrylic is quite poorly suited for this task. that said, they might still sound good! never heard them irl, I am sure they are far better than a run of the mill Sonos etc. given the size of the drivers.
