The Base App launch is probably the most exciting event in Farcaster’s history. First alternative client built by a player with major distribution. Full-fledged public partnership with the #1 exchange and #1 eth L2. Hyped up launch event featuring @barmstrong. And it’s all happening while the market is on a euphoric run. 

This is the kind of thing we thought was possible years ago based on the tech but didn't know if it would ever actually happen. Back then, saying coinbase is building a farcaster client would be like saying that Meta is building a farcaster client today. 

But now that farcaster has reached this point, it's a bit easier to see the future clearly. The inevitability of decentralized social is obvious once you see it.
