The Zama Confidential Blockchain Protocol (or simply the Zama Protocol) enables confidential smart contracts on top of any L1 or L2.

It offers:
1. End-to-end encryption
2. Composability
3. Programmable confidentiality

While FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) is the core technology used in the Zama Protocol, it also leverage MPC and ZK to address the shortcomings of other confidentiality solutions:
