starting to wonder if civilization can cope with a simultaneous emergence of AR / spatial computing, broadly useful AI, robotics, and possibly quantum computing one would have been a major change together, they are the biggest set of changes in history. and yes, likely more and faster than the industrial revolution

those same technologies can be used very effectively to help civilisation cope - so depends on how that’s prioritised / how good we are pre-empting the different impacts of the changes
