the best chance and also the right way to use circles will be getting trusted from people you already know a while

Aaahhhh ok, that makes sense. I don’t know anyone IRL who’s into crypto, much less @aboutcircles. I’m confused as a potential future user of CRC, how I can be apart of the project if before I can even earn CRC, I need to befriend and have an existing user trust me.

It feels like it could potentially incentivize deception or manipulation in a way, just for the sake of getting someone to trust you so you can start earning. Am I looking at this the wrong way? Genuine question.

value of CRC is not too high that you can count it as earning, it works on a more primal level that when you are trusting someone, you are accepting their CRC in exchange for any item or service + trust networks are vast, for anyone to harm the system or be harmed, they would need to have a lot of bad/fake/bot trusts

i might not be explaining everything correctly, however, there are discussions and examples in the whitepaper of probably of these scenarios too aboutcircles.com
