Integration of @coinbase into the ecosystem’s products Coinbase has integrated Base into its app, allowing many on-chain actions — including wallet-to-wallet transfers, participation in Onchain Summer events, and minting collections — to run through Base. For the user, this appears as the familiar Coinbase interface with added features and buttons, rather than a separate, complex L2 network that requires independent learning. This is their onboarding strategy: instead of making people figure out what an L2 is, they blend on-chain functionality into a familiar UX — through well-known Coinbase products and social apps on the level of Instagram (via Zora) and X (via Farcaster).
