Libs here didn't believe us when leftists pointed at the skepticism towards the protests in January based on reports from Iranian Marxists who opposed Ayatollah.
Reports made it clear that these protests were uniquely more artificial and less grassroots than 2022 + violent towards civilians, particularly arised in areas where Iranian intel ops were targeted during 2025 bombing. Negative sentiment was mostly economical and since Iran's population is highly educated, they knew it was due to sanctions that US imposed (by tearing up the nuclear deal Iran complied according to int'l observers).
The entire thing was an Israeli psyop.
7k+ people got killed, many by mossad-supplied protestors, some by mossad directly, some by IRGC amidst warfare (btw IRGC claims 3k, but that's also false).
So 99% of the West believed the "Iran gov't killed 30k protestors" hoax because of their already implicit bias towards Eastern cultures.
