OK so you're saying that we should take the original basic MVP / patent version for the VCR, ARPANET, 1G networks; but we should not use the basic cryptography / P2P / database tech for blockchains.
If we compare apples to apples (first consumer adoption to mass adoption), blockchain isn't doing that well.
That doesn't mean I don't believe in the tech, but the adoption attempts went terribly, mostly because of the culture surrounding it.
