West/East Germany difference was more of a CIA/KGB/Stasi competition than a capitalist/communist competition.
Who propogandizes better? Who dumps resources to kick-start the economy better?
The one who left peasantry 20 years ago and is making a lot of mistakes in a new system while spreads its resources to a 50-neighbour-borders? Or the one with no conflicts near its borders, is industrialized for more than a century now on a resourceful land?
