Looks like Windsurf also added a plan mode today. 

The only reason I use Windsurf is that I like its in-IDE preview and being able to click on specific components and talk about them with the AI. Is there a way to do this with Cursor/Zed?

yea i like zed. What I meant is that you can literally run a browser in the middle of windsurf and then click on elements on the webpage and discuss changes that need to be made. It makes rapid ui changes so fast

Im not sure exactly what you mean but zed does have the ability to chat about specific files if turn the setting from write --> ask and @ the file
