Whatever is highlighted on your X or Warpcast profile, why did you decide to commit that part of your identity to your social existence? Whether your bio has crypto or investing or something else, why hangout in that corner of social over the other areas that make you who you are?

I live offline — climbing, skating, hanging out — and therefore style my physical appearance to represent those things how I style my online appearance relates only to the things I do there: crypto, DAOs, internet culture identity is context. I only relay the info I think you need to identify me in proper context

I don't put "crypto guy" in my mountainproject.com profile; it's inappropriate for the context. it isn't useful. instead I list my location and style preferences. that info helps others help me similarly, on X and FC i identify myself so as to be maximally assisted, and restrict my activities there to that "identity"

truly, X & FC are only one corner, and multiple personas within a corner are possible. leveraging the internet to your advantage in general relies on strong persona mgmt e.g. here, im "the ops guy" elsewhere im "the guy that sends bleak memes" the two personas have dissimilar objectives, and thus remain separate
