got home from a week trip and discovered the power went out 20 min prior to getting home.  It’s 94 degrees out

within an hour, the internet slowed to a crawl as all the neighbors started using their phones.  

while i was fine with this, this caused my wife and daughter to keep asking if we could go somewhere where there’s internet

we’re now currently somewhere with internet 😀

We had a power outage a couple years ago and it was the lack of wifi that was the biggest issue. More important than electricity and more important that running water for shorter durations. Crazy.

I didn't know the cybertruck could do that. That's a really cool feature indeed!

Oh that's smart. I even contemplated a cybertruck, as it can be a power generator for your house via the charging cable - which is a pretty cool thing for a vehicle to do.

We bought a $200 battery charger thingy just for this. Can plug Starlink in for a total of 7 hours during a power outage just for the wifi. Worth it, you're so right.
