it’s actually crazy how many people just seem to drift through life without paying much attention to their surrounding, operating purely on autopilot can’t work out if this a result of daily decision fatigue and if so, would ai solve this and allow people to be more present?

i’d like to think that ai brings people back from just purely consuming to asking questions which in turn should counter the current meta of being a slave to the algo 👁️👁️

i’m starting to see more normies see the power in using ai in their day to day activities in the same breath tho, i did have a debate with someone who was anti-ai who claimed that a 100 word prompt used 500ml of water and 140Wh of electricity 🙃

some people are just tech averse, might always be that way but AI is already in their life they just don't realise it yet they think they're smart enough to realise it's like hating crypto but having a managed super that invests in blackrock owned stocks/assets (impossible not to)

a lot people are afraid of change and having to learn something new (and also struggle w the idea of nuance 🥲) i think for me it’s was the idea that consuming resources = bad (but they don’t seem to be able to comprehend the fact they already consume resources by existing and their issue actually lies in what they calculate as value)
