Saw this and thought it a clever side business. The golf sim software (GSPro) is only $250, works with a $500 launch monitor, and the rest is just isn’t even that expensive either… run of the mill clubs, balls, Windows computer/tent/projector/astroturf …. They charge $800/4 hours In one affluent neighborhood between wedding season and graduation parties you’ve got an easy couple grand. Throw in some corporate parties and you’re cooking. Each event automatically generates word of mouth marketing for more customers (look I’m telling you) with probably very little competition (unlike say, wedding photography) Your startup costs are paid for after ~3 bookings, and if you don’t want to deal with weddings and grad parties you wouldn’t even be eating too much out of profit to hire some kid to staff your booth and watch a bunch of bros hit around

It’s genuinely tempting. Don’t want to compete with my guy up here tho. Gotta find a diff town 😂
