When someone coins a post the market price is a banger meter. you’re pricing in the meme and the provenance should it became a viral one with remixes. My problem with mini app coins is that people treat them like stock in a startup. There’s an asymmetric expectation on the builder to do bullshit activities like roadmaps to please gamblers larping as investors. I hope vibe coding normalizes tiny apps (not full fledged products/companies) that one-shot a fun experience or something memorable. Can’t wait for the day when a 1 hour mini app build I post is treated the same as a picture I post or a random text shitpost. Then the apps as content will flow.

as a gambler larping as investor, it is wise to gamble on the team that seems to truly believe in their product why change expectations when that's what it is. simple solution would be to not have a trading asset and everyone just buys the L1 they identify with most

What you're saying is true IF the team is building a traditional product. my point is there there are different classes of code as content. they're not all products that need "conviction" to become a $1B app. some are just mini apps. and that's ok. and the expectations around that will change. until more people understand that, I'm more short-term bullish on creator coins for app builders than app coins. App coins right now are pretty much angel investments (or at least that's what people expect). But that's not the case for all the media coins. Just like not every video coined that you buy is a full-fledged IMAX movie. Some code creations can have a life of their own without the creator needing to churn out roadmaps, meaningless updates just to create hype, etc.
