the social change you described is keen, but most people complaining about how it changed is prior to the social change, and induced the social change before: the things which brought all those tourist and opportunists. - a broken leaderboard system that was rugged instead of righted - a dev leaderboard system that was gamed to the very end - a "we're a trading app now and if you don't like it build another client" when snapchain wasn't amenable to building another client and it required significant capital investment to make it work, plus snapchain was broken (and still is! i fixed the issues in hypersnap but snapchain has seen no meaningful progress) - an acquisition that so far has been used to push existing neynar products on a dying userbase rather than trying to foster the userbase and grow it it can improve. the people can improve it. but not through the leadership of who owns Farcaster, the app and consensus rules (if you can even call it consensus). it has to come from the users, and we have to eat the vegetables that is redirecting to something new that advances from Farcaster, the app.
