For some reason this reminds me of 2020/21 Covid-era, where a significant portion of the zeitgeist was “Remote Work Is Here To Stay” and the other side was “Yeah, no, big corps have real estate leases, capitalism/interpersonal competition will drive you back to the office” What I’m feeling is something like: Yeah, AI is coming for knowledge work, these jobs and their tools are going to change. But maybe not as transformative as we think?
