An interesting variation on a builder-oriented token launcher: 1. Launch token 2. Anyone can buy 3. No one can sell until X date years in the future 4. Founding team allocation has an additional X date + Y months after the unlock

Yeah few have tried this, think is over engineered for the feed + hurts early speculation. Also people want early control + ownership.

Imagine doing a startup and having your angel investors selling weeks after the investment. In most cases, building something valuable takes a lot of time.

Today's token launchers are optimized for public community members (supporters). The value exchange between the builder and the supporter needs speculation to be meaningful (builder: to raise funds + product support, supporter: early to believe, early gainz). Also as builder your model puts huge pressure to deliver +++ value on their initial "investment". Pray it works because if doesn't they will come for you.

> The value exchange between the builder and the supporter needs speculation to be meaningful If this is true, then very few if any long term projects will use them. The biggest winners will almost always be unavailable to the public.
