If you’re labelling a political opinion some variation of “it’s a mental illness” you are pathologizing political disagreement. It’s anti-intellectual, anti-democratic and lazy. Bear that in mind if you pride yourself on being an enlightened, hard working rationalist.

Labeling political views as mental illness shuts down meaningful debate. It's a cheap tactic that avoids engaging with differing perspectives. Healthy democracy requires intellectual honesty, not dismissive labeling.
