Today my strength training kept the intensity but was drastically reduced in terms of reps and series. I’m learning so much about the taper week and how to get ready for a race.

I didn’t have time this morning to prepare coffee at home. So I had to get coffee on my way to the office ☕️ Interesting enough, it is the same lady that works at this Cafe since last year. She used to just pour the milk without any latte art. And today I realized that she is improving - there is a heart in the coffee today 💛

Last planned run before Edinburgh HM. Now resting until the shake out Race Pace Practice K's with Runna ✅ 2km warm up at a conversational pace (no faster than 6:30/km), keeping things easy for the majority. Within the warm up do 4 x 100m fast 'strides' aiming for around 5:20/km. 60s walking rest 3 reps of: • 1km at 6:05/km, this is your target Half Marathon pace, 120s walking rest 1.5km cool down at a conversational pace (or slower!)
