It's an odd time to be terminally online. I like people. I think the breadth and depth we have as humans is intrinsically fascinating. As such, I want to spend a lot of my online time interacting and observing people. Some people suck/are scammy/are monsters, of course, and I don't want to engage with those people. I also like bots. I think the breadth and depth of the bots we've built is also intrinsically fascinating. Accordingly, I definitely want to spend a non-zero amount of my online time interacting with and observing bots. Some bots suck/are scammy/are monsters, of course, and I don't want to engage with those bots. I think there are more shitty bots than shitty people on average because the cost of being a bad bot is lower (persistent reputation doesn't matter, easier to DDOS culture by spinning up another account, etc). I also think networks like Farcaster can hold both at the same time. I don't think we're at a nice balance yet though.
