Muscle up tips 1. Don’t over swing forward to start. One step behind the bar is plenty already 2. Retract your shoulder blades to squeeze your back and prepare for the hard pull up 3. Tense your core and keep your pelvis tucked back 4. Tense your quads and lock your knees during the movement 5. Make the transition as quick and smooth as possible, by throwing your elbows back and leaning over the bar once you are high enough 6. Don’t fall down after your first rep and Control the descent to prepare for the second rep 7. Break down any element that cause la you trouble and practice it separately until it becomes better
