When brands show up on a platform, it signals to creators that there’s opportunity here — not just for exposure, but for real partnerships. That’s part of how ecosystems grow.

When I first started posting I was on TikTok only. But I quickly realized most brands were still scouting on Instagram — that’s where their teams live, that’s where they search so I started cross-posting there too, and I saw a real spike in inbound opportunities. Same content, different visibility and audience.

Some brands do understand platform nuances — I’ve had partnerships that asked for TikTok-only or IG-only deliverables. I don’t post on X, but I know creators who’ve been paid just to show up there. So if brands see value in a platform, they’ll spend there. And creators will follow.

That’s why Farcaster has potential. It’s not just a feed, but a network of communities. With channels and miniapps, brands can do more than advertise — they can participate like:

– Cafes dropping loyalty stamps in /coffee
– Skincare brands gifting samples to top posters in /beauty
– Travel brands recasting creators in /travel

If they see the value not just in scale, but in community, they’ll come. And the creators will too.
