i think i am super exposed to cantonese/hakka cuisine, hailing from malaysia. i like jing cuisine (having spent a few months there once), and while there i came to enjoy chuanr, which is Xinjiang cuisine (and their other stuff too)

lanzhou beef noodles are getting popular here too it feels like a chinese promo campaign for food culture i always try to look for places that look like family run restaurants not business machines

where is here, if you dont mind me asking? it is also possible it is some kinda chinese promo campaign, but i dunno, in the klang valley (greater kl), you're also seeing a lot of chinese money flowing in, so you're also seeing the opening of of chinese muslim mosques, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmsbDQrLgP0

oh, sorry - former 2 time prime minister, who is going to be 100 years old in about a week, went to do a friday prayers at this chinese muslim mosque in the klang valley (~40 min outside of downtown kl)
