You know I’ve been thinking about this and what we’ve chatted in private and I see @early wanna exit the network because the engagement on X is just amazing for him and all this is overall very troubling from an algorithmic standpoint. It means we just don’t have things right (I prefer not to attribute to malice of course)

imo there's just too much insider fc meta jokes, people want in and be able to relate but are unable to because a lot of casts don't get surfaced, especially if you cast at non-US/EU hours

Yeah the algo feeds a lot of old stuff in these hours. I was on the base app and I saw stuff from 6 hours ago mostly. My following feed is actually not bad at all, it’s just algorithms failing us. Also I think all the meta jokes are pointless if we’re planning to be more inclusive. Looking for lore and bidding on it isn’t what matters today.

following feed is actually pretty good, but a lot of old casters are gone from my feed, @chicago was just saying that honestly, i think the mechanism is fine, but the people behind the bids who put significance to the meta jokes are the ones driving the value and perpetuating the lore
