Solid take, let them scream into their own void. But that also means there are other voids people can scream in… which is a problem when you have many social networks. Then you only listen to your own people. Have you seen Primal? Basically 90% btc only talk

I have not seen or heard about Primal. lol. very funny name for a social network. in general, I think it's healthy for the major social networks to break in this way.

I think it was healthy to break up the idea that Twitter was *the* public square. partially because it never was but that was the idea that really made it have the impact that it did (in the way Josh outlines in this piece). more groups talking amongst themselves and taking responsibility for the space is good.
