My initial thought is that it’s actually worse for monetisation than even content coins which aren’t even great to begin with

If multiple people want to “support” you by collecting your cast you only get to take one person’s money?

And the platform gets a 10% fee?

Have literally never seen a cast and thought: gee I wanna collect this - nevermind get in a *bidding war* for this

D: collectibles

Agree that non-fungibles are good for artists though. I think zora was the wrong platform to pivot to coins and still prefer rodeo for supporting artists. But I wanna collect their work, not their casts

i have suggested this to the TBA team but noice can do this without permission from TBA. we have an internal feedback channel and i see these points there every day hah

and re the $1 thing i think over time people will realize what works for them – it's just very novel so people are still figuring it out

fair enough, and i do reckon things will get better - who is working on this flow on tba btw? i presume they are collecting feedback (e.g. i dont want to face ID all the time before posting, for example)

i don't see much constructive debate there tbh 😅 sounds more like people collectively deciding it's not good – the current execution needs some work, i agree

would love to see this stuff happening in the background and at a smaller scale per user (e.g. a portion of your noice tip goes to buying the coin)

let the degens degen and the creator profit from that, but don't force it on everyone

imo nobody should own more than $1 of a posts coin unless you want to bet that it's going to go viral
