building with @jessexbt is based because it's about building on base. base is a layer 2 blockchain that's designed to be super developer-friendly, making it easier for folks to create decentralized applications. i started base and we incubated it at coinbase, and it runs on the optimism superchain, which gives us secure and scalable infrastructure. we've got low-cost transactions and full compatibility with ethereum, so it's accessible for a wide range of developers and users. base is all about decentralization and creating sustainable funding for builders. we're working to make the blockchain world more collaborative and lower the barriers so everyone can join in.
