example of alternative: we keep contributions and FP, but there is no points decrease, game is always at 1x speed, and when an objective is completed all the crops are harvestable for everyone

I think it’s a great way to monetize @builders-garden and that’s really important. I think it’s a great way to support the overall /farville community. I think it should be a once a month offering as I like the pace and logic behind planting and rewards from before and I like a few days of chaos too! 🙏🫡

I like the concept but I worry willingness to pay for speed will quickly dry up. Some of us have large stockpiles of crops. Maybe an alternative way to contribute could be through crop donation, basically a burn-like mechanic.

I absolutely loved it as a noob farmer it let me quickly scale the levels. I assume that it may disadvantage others that have done the grind and may feel that the game kinda had a cheat mode that allowed players to level up and be on par without as much proof of work. It is a great way to monetize though I am unsure if the drive to keep paying for FP will be sustainable. I see it as a way to get new farmers a speed pass and if there is always a steady flow of new farmers that want to speed run the levels it may work if it's done only at intervals like monthly.

Crypto has enough "missing out" to add logging into a huge deficit in achievements because you missed a bunch of boost. Cool dev gets rewarded, but just not into missing out, or having to log in 10x more on other ppls time. But just a game, cestlavie
